Property Taxes

Your 2025 Property Tax Bill is enclosed. This bill was prepared based on the status of the property as of January 1, 2025.

If mailing address has changed, notify the Lake Tomahawk Town Treasurer, Michele Breheim.
If owner name has changed, notify the Oneida County Register of Deeds.

Due Dates

Due January 31, 2026 - First Installment or Full Payment

  • Payable to Town of Lake Tomahawk
  • Tax bills less than $100 must be paid in full.
  • Special charges and assessments must be paid in full.

Due July 31, 2026 - Second Installment

  • Payable to Oneida County Treasurer
  • Mail to: P.O. Box 400, Rhinelander, WI 54501

PAYMENT METHODS

Paying By Check

  • Make check payable to “Town of Lake Tomahawk”.
  • Include your Parcel # (LT ) and payment stub.
  • You may pay for multiple parcels with one check.
  • Do NOT staple check. Do NOT post-date check.
  • Enclose self-addressed stamped envelope if you want return receipt.

MAIL

  • Mailing address: P.O. Box 396, Lake Tomahawk, W1 54539.
  • Payment must be postmarked no later than January 31, 2026.
  • Do NOT mail cash.

Secure Drop Box

  • Located in front of town office — 7246 Main Street on left side of the building.
  • Payment must be deposited in the drop box no later than January 31, 2026.
  • Do NOT deposit cash into drop box.

In Person

  • Walk-in payments are ONLY accepted 10:00AM - 2:00PM on:
    • Monday, December 29, 2025
    • Monday, January 26, 2026
  • Located in town office — 7246 Main Street.
  • Bring your tax bill with you.
  • If paying with cash, only the EXACT amount will be accepted.
