Mid November Musky Hunt

By Captain Hook - Posted on 22 November 2009

Musky Fishing is still going strong. Water temps on the larger lakes are starting to drop a little - 43 - 44. Smaller lakes are holding around 38 - 39. Fishing has been good this week with all the action coming on suckers. Had a trip Monday and we boated a 38 and 41 incher. Another trip yesterday on the Gun Deer Opener and had a nice fat 41. Still nothing over 45 inches but hopefully that will change over Thanksgiving.

Good Fishing for those that are still left on the lakes. Last weekends trips netted a 38 - 41 - and 40 incher. Cisco schools are grouping up in the spawning areas in 14 to 25 feet and the Muskies are near by. Also had a 42 on Monday and a 38 yesterday on Two Sisters. Hitting Clear Lake today looking for that big one!
