I bet you thought we would have ice by the opener of deer season. I did too. But mother nature is having its way as the temps have warmed up as well as the water temps. The best we can hope for is ice by Thanksgiving. That would save a lousy deer gun hunt if it happens. Hope not. Hope we all see lots of deer. I also hope we have ice by Turkey day, safe ice that is.
